What Studio Is

Studio is the commercial arm of Seek The Epic. Brands, hospitality groups, and destination partners commission Bret to shoot the same way he shoots for himself: in the field, at the right hour, with the smallest possible footprint.

Every commission begins as an expedition and ends as a deliverable. The output reads as authored, not produced — earned with patience instead of staged with budget. No crew that flattens the moment. No template. The eye that earned the trip is the eye that takes the brief.

Below: how we work, what we make, who we’ve worked with. Inquire when you have a project — or a place — that needs to feel real on screen.

What We Do

Four ways to commission Seek The Epic.

Photographer alone on a misty pre-dawn road — frame from a brand-film capture

01 — Brand Films & Motion

Cinematic video and aerial work, made at the source.

Horizontal and vertical video. Drone footage. Aerial photography. Hand-held in the field, mounted in the air. Cut for the destination, the season, or the brand. One photographer, one kit, no production circus.

Commissioned commercial photography — kayak on still water at golden hour

02 — Commercial Photography

Commissioned stills for hospitality, outdoor, destination.

Editorial register. Full ownership transferred to client on delivery. Lightroom-finished masters plus social crops. No stock, no AI fill, no composite — every frame earned in the field.

Under the Canvas glamping camp at desert dusk — destination partnership capture for resort and tourism work

03 — Destination Partnerships

Multi-day residencies for resorts, lodges, tourism boards.

A working week on location. Campaign-grade stills and film produced at the source — sunrise crews, weather windows, guest-side moments, and the empty hours in-between that make the place feel like itself.

Wide canyon road sweeping into desert distance — licensable editorial frame

04 — Licensing & Editorial

Selected frames available for license.

Editorial use, brand campaigns, prints, large-format spatial. Pricing case-by-case based on usage, term, and exclusivity. Inquire with the frame, the use, and the audience.
